This manual describes and documents the world-famous STATIK program, that started 25 years ago at the Zurich Federal Technical University (ETH Zuerich) and was subsequently developed by the cubus company. It is a comprehensive program for space frame analysis and design, 2nd order theory, dynamic analysis and stability, response spectra method, construction phases, creep, post-tensioning and other practical applications, used by thousands of design offices all over the world and is taught in educational institutions of international prestige. In Greece, it has also seen a great deal of reflection over the past 10 years, which has led to the present economic, educational edition for students and young (in spirit) engineers.
